Located in one of Chicago's best neighborhoods, this homestay is close to shops, a diverse assortment of eateries and bars and public transportation (both bus and train). If you prefer to get around Chicago by bike, there is a DIVVY bike rental stand on the corner. It is close to downtown, the medical district and many city attractions. I have been hosting students from other countries for 9 years and enjoy seeing Chicago through their eyes. This homestay is located in a pet free, smoke free private home and the facilities are shared. I am a registered dietitian so meals are provided and the food is fresh and home cooked. Special dietary needs can be accomodated such as halal or kosher meals, diabetes or vegetarian diets etc. There is a 24 hour laundromat nearby for doing personal laundry; as host, I provide and launder all bedding and towels. In the summer there is a yard to enjoy and a garden to provide fresh vegetables and herbs. I have hosted students from Kaplan University and consistently get good ratings and high marks. And I am still in touch with many of the students. I would love to welcome you to my homestay.
