I love to have students from all over the world, to meet other cultures and have them know each others traditions and history.
I'm an ESL teacher at Chicago City Colleges, I love to help students get settle in our city and enjoy fully of everything Chicago
has to offer for free. this October will be 3 years that I began hosting. We've made friends for life. I have visited some of their
countries and met their families. This month 2 of them came back to visit us,one of them an oil engineer from Ecuador with his whole family!!!
I was moved to meet them personally and not only in skype! My son will be visiting some of them all the way from Amsterdan, Munich,
to Switzerland this coming month.
I have a unpretentious house, but I want them to my contact page care for one another, encourage one another, and help each
other with homework and oral presentations, even be present to support them the day of the presentation.
We have minimum common understanding rules. Wash your dishes after eating, turn off the lights when not in the room, simple guidelines
that establish respect for one another.
