I am delighted that you are considering to stay at my place. A comfortable and safe environment where you can study, relax and thrive. Your homestay includes a furnished private bedroom, a shared bathroom, access to the living and dining room, and you will also be granted access to the kitchen so you can prepare your meals.
About me!
For over the years, I have hosted students from South America, Europe, and the USA and have loved the whole experience. I am a well-traveled higher education professional with a background in international higher education and student services. I have traveled to over six countries and enjoy spending my vacation time in Brazil. I speak fluent Portuguese, English, and some Spanish.
The home is located just steps away from Lake Michigan in a quiet tree-lined peaceful street in Edgewater, one of the most diverse communities Chicago. The neighborhood is 92% walkable. It is close to shopping centers, theaters, banks, concert venues, ethnic restaurants, and international grocery stores.
The major universities in the area are Loyola University Chicago Lakeshore Campus (7 minutes away), Northwestern University(18 minutes away on the free Shuttle Bus). There are also several community colleges and language schools within a few miles from the residence.
