Hello, My name is Carolyn. I am married for almost twenty years and we have one son has completed college and lives with us. We have been Hosting since 2015, including and more High School students, for those students. We own a flat that has six bedrooms with four bathrooms, a finished basement with a bathroom and a fire place. Each floor is fully equipped with a modern kitchen, a large living room and a dinning room. I am the fifth of thirteen children and I love to care for others. I am running a homestay because I love to take care of others, entertain, we have so three bedrooms that are available and it is a great way to help out others as we also earn an income. Some of my hobbies are cooking, gardening, swimming, biking, visiting museums, zoos and doing outdoors activities including cultural festivities, visiting new places and learning about new cultures. I/we have hosted several people, including older students for over ten years. I have visited Mexico, Guatemala, England and Mozambique Africa.
I/we are interested in visiting many countries. We are happy to help anyone who want to help themselves. I know what it is to be in a foreign land. I migrated to the USA almost thirty years ago and have made it a mission to helping visitors in America whenever I can.
We live in a very quiet and neighborhood, that is very centrally located to public transportation, schools, shopping centers, grocery stores, theaters, the lake and water parks.
In our home, we do not allow any alcohol, no smoking, loud music, untidiness, disrespect and disorder. We are very considerate and always try our best to be welcoming and kind to everyone. I love barbecuing in the summer and there is lots of food in this house always. I love my home and we try to make it very comfortable and inviting to everyone who enters our doors.
