Hi I'm hosting because I am a retired educator. I worked as a paraprofessional for 19yrs.. since retiring I decided I would like to contribute in providing housing for students looking to study abroad. My family is raised and I have no pets. This is my first year hosting students,. I am married with four adult children, I am very involved in my local church and I am a member of a worship team (SOW) Seeds of Worship. I live in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood, with parks and tennis courts. just one block away.. I have 2 bedrooms available and a common kitchen with microwave refrigerator and electric burner I also have washer and dryer for laundry once a week included in fee. There are plenty of restaurants, shopping in walking distance The library is near bus or train station. We are about a fifteen minute walk to the the Metra to Chicago. I know you will love it here. Homewood is a safe and friendly community.
