We would love to welcome you to our home! We have hosted students from France, Spain, Japan, Brazil, Canada, and the U.S. over the past few years and enjoy helping people to get to know Chicago and make the most of their stay here. We like to cook and eat well, travel, listen to music, read, go to music and dance concerts, and enjoy nature.
We have a lovely, quiet home on a tree-lined street in Lakeview East (on the north side of Chicago), a neighborhood with three grocery stores, lots of shops, cafes, and restaurants, library and bookstore, and close to the lakefront (Lake Michigan). There are plenty of public transportation options - several bus lines and the Red/Brown/Purple line trains - and downtown Chicago is just a short ride away.
We have a sunny, private bedroom with a full size (double) bed and ample closet and drawer space, quiet courtyard view, and private bathroom. The room has air conditioning and a ceiling fan, Wifi. We will provide breakfast and dinner six nights a week.
