Hello, Welcome to Illinois. Our eight-pound Shih Tzu Emi is waiting at the door to welcome you. We are so excited to host students from around the world for a month or more. We have a house in the beautiful area of Oak Park Illinois. Oak Park is a safe place, and you will love it here. We have only adults here. Our adult son lives with us when he is not in school and is fluent in the Japanese language.
We offer a continental breakfast, Breakfast, and dinner included in the $750 monthly fee. Wi fi, bedroom with sheets, desk, tv, desk light, closet, hairdryer, bookshelf, access to printer, shared bathroom, and kitchen. We have a laundry facility with detergents. No smoking is allowed. Rule: NO overnight guests or parties allowed. A 2 week or more notice is required to move out. Our home has a grand piano. We have an outdoor grill, seating areas, and firepit.
Our home is one block from the blue line train (the L-train), 30 minutes from downtown Chicago and 35 minutes from both airports. Dominican University and Concordia are in the area. Our neighborhood is also diverse and full of ethnic restaurants and activities. We are a community with a rich history, including having Frank Lloyd Wright and Ernest Hemingway homes. We have several Frank Lloyd Wright architectures, movie theaters, museums, and stores nearby you can walk too.
